Deciduous

Empty rooms aren’t so,
I feel you here,
Even as you go.
I’ve always wanted to grow,
Into so much more.
When I find what I’m looking for,
I wouldn’t know.
I’m not clear about what I miss,
But aware that something is missing,
From my life,
From our lives,
That aren’t worth leading,
As they feel shallow.
