Bite my tongue

I’ll not tell you the water is purple today,

The sky is clear blue and my bleeding heart surfing the waves doesn’t want to invite sharks.

For all you know, I’m okay.

I did not write this while watching Jaws. I didn’t, okay? FYI, it was Jaws 2.

    This is clever. I interpreted the purple of the water to be the purple blood of the heart, impure blood that engulfs the body in negative emotions. FYI, I love Jaws and Jaws 2. Wonderfully expressed!
